Best dive bar in Jacksonville hands down!! Moved away and have to visit every time I come back! OH.. all the drinks are doubles, so that's another reason to come :)
We all go here for one reason. To drink! Nope. It's for Monica. She's the absolute best bartender any of us has ever met. The patrons here are always friendly and down for a little chat or game of darts. The bartenders, other than the Queen Monica, vary in quality; some are great others - not so much. My only real complaint is the cigarettes. It's just too much to constantly breathe in at times. If you don't like crowded bars don't go here. It's almost always packed.
Nice little spot south of the river we stumbled into walking home from another bar. Like the name says it seemed to be filled with locals. A friendly place, pool tables, reasonably priced drinks. I'd visit again next time I'm in Jacksonville!
